Caterpillar Chaos.

I just finished cutting the grass and was walking to the front to put the mower away and I came very close to walking into this:

Having these thrust into my face does not give me a nice feeling. 

Not quite sure of the species of caterpillar or moth/butterfly - but they sure are eating the leaves of the tree very well. Hope they don't make it to my garden...

Memory Foam Mattress!

Well we ordered the mattress (it was half price special offer). We went through the members mall on a credit card for extra cash-back.
We then got an additional 20% off. And on top of that we got $10 of Khol's cash for every $50 we spent.  All in all we got a good deal.
This make was comparable with other manufacturers on "Sleep like the dead" website but this one was a special offer.
We will assess the mattress for a month and I will review it. Some say it takes a couple of weeks to get used to...
It only has 2 inch memory foam and it is quire firm. It's comfortable so far...

Bed in a box

Our bed is killing us. I can no longer sleep on it because of the pain I get. In fact the sofa is more comfortable!
We listened to all the people who have memory foam mattresses and ordered one.

As we needed a firm foundation I looked around for a hardwood one that was not too expensive. I was led to bedinabox.com and ordered one. 

I thought I would post the construction. I know it's trivial, but when I was looking around I did not find any info on it - so thought I would post something...

Garden in September

Well it looks like things may cool down eventually. Plants are starting to grow better now. 

Tomatoes are starting to pop out again. 

I found this odd plant growing in my lawn area the other day. Looks very colourful with it's bright green and purple/pink branches. I have no idea what it is... looks cool though. 

 

Below are my Tabasco peppers. They may be small but they will burn your mouth out!

 

Loads of bell peppers this year. Some more small ones on the way...

The tomato plants are so tall now that they out-grew the 8ft trellis. They are actually taller than the side of the house. It's madness. I just want tomatoes.
