Well spring came early (or is it summer already - feels like it!). Usually people do not plant until the middle of April - but I planted everything late March / Early April.
Thought this was a good name for a Basil that will be growing in a box made of wood...
Not sure if I will be able to make Tabasco sauce from this - but I could try I guess.
Here are how small the plants are now. Hopefully they will grow a lot larger....
Bonnie plants did well out of me this year. I went for Heirloom tomatoes because they seemed to do well in my first year of gardening in the U.S. (poor performance last year)
Never had a purple tomato that I can think of... another heirloom plant.
A hybrid. Hopefully this will do better than last year also...
As you can see - a good start. I hope they go high - maybe 8 ft on the tomatoes?
