Corn / Pole bean (runner bean) update.

Here is the corn and runner bean patch.


It may look like just a bit of earth - but this is actually an intense grid of corn and beans.


There must be close to 50 corn plants below. All spaced 6 inches apart. Once they are up I will show you the pattern I used.  If you can imagine a seed at the end of each line - it was a like this:   /\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\ There are two rows like that. the middle row is just a single row - to fill in the gap a bit. 




As for the Beans - I used a similar /\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\ Pattern.  I should get beans growing on the out side and the inside of the nets. Hopefully I will have two thick walls of bean plants. If they want to grow higher than I have allowed (which is about 7ft by the way) then they can start climbing down the other side!


It will be an intense grid of 'bean against bean'
